Announcements

WordPress 4.9.6 should be released soon which will be very helpful in terms of privacy and compliance with GDPR rules and regulations now out. We will be updating sites on our plans as soon as this release takes place. In the mean time we have a few security and bug fix releases to carry out as per below

Forms V2.3.3

  • Fixed an issue where sorting entries numerically by an entry meta column which is registered with "is_numeric" as true, such as "partial_entry_percent", did not work.
  • Fixed an issue when searching entries when the operator is NOT IN and the array of values doesn't contain an empty string - entries without a value for the field are not included in the results.
  • Fixed an issue with searching for empty entry meta values.
  • Fixed an issue with joins in the entry search. Join inference was being called too early for all the correct joinable fields to be processed.
  • Fixed the entry detail page, {all_fields}, and {pricing_fields} merge tags using an outdated product info cache when the entry is updated by GFAPI::update_entry().
  • Fixed an issue where entries don't contain all the values for fields when the inputs are added dynamically during submission.

Header and Footer Injection V3.1

  • Removed the Facebook setting (move to a specialized plugin to have the Facebook Open Graph Meta)
  • Removed bbPress setting (please use bbpress ads)
  • Label fix
  • Removed notices
  • 5 post injections and 5 generic injections

WordPress ithemes Security V7.0.1

  • Bug Fix: Fixed an “Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function esc_like()” error that could occur when exporting or erasing personal data.
  • Bug Fix: Skip recovery if File Change storage is empty.

User Role Editor V4.41

  • New: URE changes currently selected role via AJAX request, without full “Users->User Role Editor” page refresh.
  • Update: All plugin custom user capabilities (started from ‘vc_access_rules_’) were excluded from processing by User Role Editor. Visual Composer loses settings made via its own “Role Manager” after the role update by User Role Editor in other case. The reason – Visual Composer stores not boolean values with user capabilities granted to the roles via own “Role Manager”. User Role Editor converted them to related boolean values during role(s) update.

WordPress SEO V7.4.1

  • Re-adds wpseo_opengraph_image_size filter. This will completely override any automatic size determination our code does. This filter now also applies to all ways an og:image can be determined: In the content, as a featured image or as set in our Facebook image setting.
  • Fixes an unintended backwards incompatible change which caused “Warning: Illegal string offset ‘url’ in”.
  • Fixes an unintended change which caused SVGs to be included in consideration for the og:image tag. SVG images are not allowed by Facebook, so these should never be used in the og:image tag.
